Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to my husband for being a Great Step Father and Uncle.

My Father is no longer with us but this is how I remember him.

My favorite picture of my Dad,he was always a easy going laid back person.

My dad and my three sisters,Elizabeth,Barbara and Nancy.

I will always remember how my mother talked about how hansom he was when they were dating.

Hydrangea

The hydrangea are just starting to bloom here.

These are a light pink .

The more they open the more colorful they get.

The P H level of your soil has a lot to do with what color they will be.

And some can't decide what color they want to be.If you look real close to this one you will see it is half pink and half blue.

It's a Front Porch Party

Welcome to My Front Porch

This is the fish pond beside the front porch.

This is where I like to sit and listen to the pond and
read a good book.

And the swing where I could swing away hours of the day.

Here are some bright colors for the Monday Blaahs....

My Mother always called these Tiger Lilies.

A climbing Red Rose withe a purple clematis

A Purple Clematis that grow beside our garage.It is a least 5 ft tall or more which isn't that big but my husband cut it down to the ground this past winter.He will do this every year if I don't remind him.Well it hasn't hurt it yet so no need in nagging .
