As I read a lot of blogs I see that people have a lot of list on thing that they want to accomplish for 2009.Me like every one else I want to lose weight ,get healthy,save money ,be green,get more organized.But number one on my list is to finish the slipcover for this couch!!!!This picture was taken about a year and a half ago.I have gotten about this far and I have frozen in fear I am so afraid that I will ruin the fabrics that I have paid a lot of money for.But all of that fabric sitting on a bolt behind my sewing room door is waste just as bad as ruining it.So to put it the best way I can the lolly gagging is over and It is time to @#&* or get off the pot and finally get this UFO finished.So maybe will I am teaching myself a new craft I will forget about those cookies calling my name form the pantry and lose some weight ,save some money,be green and get ride of some of clutter in my sewing room.The best thing that would come from this is I would develop a new a trade and get my self off of the graveyard shift,that it self would be a dream come true.

Hi Brenda. We all have projects either started or in our minds. lol
Cleaning that project room, well I started last night and got most of stuff off the floor. I may have to start detashing some of the stuff!

Just trust yourself and know that you can do it. I done the same thing once to a small camel back love seat and it turned out great. I was frozen in fear to start because the fabric was 13.99 per yard at Hobby Lobby. You can't return fabric and I knew when I bought it , it was mine. I still have that sofa today. I use it upstairs in a mater bedroom up there. You have a good start, just dive head first into it and stay with it untill your done.
I am betting you can do this and do it really well! I have so many projecst and just need to get myself to DO it!! That is the hard part I think...just getting started!
