My favorite book when I Was a child was The Little Engine That Could. My mother read it to me at bedtime. It is a story of a train load of toys and food for the children over the mountain that has the misfortune of their engine breaking down and there quest to find a replacement. After being turned down by some very fine and powerful engines.and one very old and rusty engine, along comes the little blue engine, that has never been over the mountain. When they ask she says I think I can,I think I can.Once on the other side of the mountain she say I knew I could,I knew I could!!
I keep a copy of this book on my coffee table to remind me that the power of though and your frame of mind is everything and good things come to those that believe.

I loved that book when I was little! I can still remember my mom holding the book up to show the pictures to me and my brother after she'd finished reading a page...and I agree. Good things do come to those who believe :)
Oh how I loved that book, too! My other favorite one, which had the same basic message, was The Little Tug Boat. Boy, this has brought back some great memories. Thank you for sharing with us! And thank you, Brenda, for your sweet words today on my blog. Xo,Becky
