Sunday October the 21st was a day full of celebrations around here it was my son Ben's 29th birthday and my nephew Chase's 6th birthday.We started of the day by going to a homecoming celebration for the 75th anniversary of our Church building.There were many past members there that came back for the festivities and fellowship.After we went to church it was on to the birthday party full of presents, skating ,and cake( what more would a 6 year old want).Then it was back home to make a phone call to my son who is in the Navy stationed in California to wish him a happy birthday and to make sure the wildfires are no where around him.Hope every one is doing well and enjoying the beautiful fall weather. I know what you mean about the Smoky Mountains. I felt that way everytime visited too. That is why I moved here two years ago. I feel at peace here.
